No salary for traffic aides
Traffic auxiliaries in Iloilo City are currently suffering from famine. This is because they were not given their salaries for almost three months. Wala kuno kwarta ang siyudad. Because of this many traffic auxiliaries have lost their dedication to work. Ila na lang ginabantayan kon paano sila maka-diskarte kag maka-kwarta sa mga drayber para may mapakaon sa ila pamilya. Is this true Sir Bob?
Drivers’ complaints
Many drivers of public utility vehicles (PUVs) have complained that the traffic aides are getting irrational and harsh in apprehending drivers. Gamay lang kuno nga sala sang mga drayber dakup gid dayon kag ginakuha ang lisensya. Kag para mabawi ang ila lisensya ginakinahanglan nga makigkita ang drayber sa opisina sang alkalde. Kaluluoy man ang mga drayber, pati sila ginagamit sa pamulitika.
Eyesore campaign posters
Comelec once said that they will conduct massive operations to remove political campaign materials posted on areas not designated as authorized poster areas. Campaign posters have littered the city proper even before the start of the campaign period, but we haven’t seen the Comelec conducting the operation. It is understandable since the Comelec lacks the manpower. However, it does not mean that we will just ignore the problem. The city has an existing anti-littering ordinance which can be used in removing these eyesores. Ang problema lang galing kay puro na lang pangampanya ang sa isip sang mga opisyal naton, nalipatan na nila ang ila mga obligasyon.
