TeleTech earns PEZA recognition
TeleTech Customer Care Management Philippines, Inc., a division of TeleTech Holdings, Inc., one of the largest and most geographically diverse global providers of business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, has been recognized in the Philippines as Outstanding Employer of the Year for a third time and as the newest member of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Hall of Fame.
PEZA’s Outstanding Employer honor is given annually to organizations that generate the highest number of jobs, prioritize employee welfare and maintain excellent relationships between labor and management. PEZA inducts three-time winners of the award into its Hall of Fame. Prior to receiving the award for 2009, TeleTech was also named Outstanding Employer in 2007 and 2008.
“We are honored once again to be recognized as an outstanding employer in the Philippines and we are especially excited to be named to PEZA’s Hall of Fame,” said Richard Bledsoe, TeleTech’s executive vice president and chief operations officer for Asia. “TeleTech is proud to employ such a high-caliber group of associates at our world-class facilities, and these honors are a testament to our position as the employer of choice for approximately 20,000 Filipinos.”

The company was honored along with other award winners at the 2010 PEZA Investors Recognition Day. TeleTech began operations in the Philippines in 2002 with its first service delivery center in Manila. The company’s presence has grown to 13 locations including nine service delivery centers in Metro Manila and Luzon and four additional centers in the Philippine interior.
