Treñas calls for more volunteers to clear city of campaign materials
Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas is calling for more volunteers to help clear the city of tons of campaign materials.
Treñas said he has already ordered the General Services Office (GSO) to undertake cleaning operations but it would be faster if there are volunteers who can help the concerned office.
To recall, city streets were flooded with ribbons with colors representing the color scheme of various candidates.
Likewise common posters areas were identified by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) where campaign materials should be posted. These were mostly in city and barangay plazas. (PNA)
