Iloilo Airport woes

“Nothing seems to be working at the Iloilo Airport. First of all the X-ray machine that does not work greets you. Then comes the unwanted brownout that starts the long line for check-in because the computer does not work. After that very long wait, it’s time to go up the pre-departure area. Now the escalator does not work. Then again the X-ray of the pre-departure does not work. Is this progress? Is this how we welcome our tourists?”
Pres. Noy’s guiding light
“Kung walang corrupt, walang mahirap.” May this campaign slogan of incoming Pres. Noynoy Aquino be his guiding light in choosing personnel to fill up his Cabinet. In other words, people tainted with corruption issues should have no place in his administration. The Filipino people are with high hopes that Pres. Noy will “walk the talk”, so he should not fail the people who have catapulted him to power.
PA Banias eyed as Prov’l Administrator
Presidential Assistant for Western Visayas Raul Banias is reportedly being eyed to become the provincial administrator of incoming governor Art Defensor Sr.’s administration. PA Banias, also a former mayor of Concepcion town, is really fit for the position. Many sectors are pushing him to accept the post.
