GT Cosmetics brings products to Luzon
The Cebu-based GT Cosmetics has brought its first batch of beauty products to Luzon in the first week of June.
“We finally made it. We have penetrated the Luzon market,” GT Cosmetics founder, engineer Leonora B. Salvane, said.
Watsons paved the way for GT Cosmetics to reach the north when it opened nine outlets in the different parts of Luzon.
“As Watsons opened their new outlets, so was GT introduced in Luzon,” Salvane said.
Watsons recently opened two outlets in Metro Manila at SM Manila and Ali Mall, and three branches in Batangas, two in Pampanga, and another two in Laguna.
“Actually, Robinsons was also instrumental in our Luzon mission as it now displays and sells GT Cosmetics products in its malls,” Salvane said.
GT Cosmetics’ skin-care products are now available at Robinsons department stores and supermarkets in Manila, Ermita, Tutuban, Novaliches, Cebu, Dumaguete, Bacolod, Iloilo, and Tacloban.
“We are currently setting up to have our products available in all of 50 Robinsons outlets,” Salvane added.
GT Cosmetics, meanwhile, successfully launched its soap line’s new look in Bacolod and Iloilo recently.
Salvane said she is happy with the recent launching in Bacolod and Iloilo and is optimistic that the market segment they want to tap will accept their products not just because of their fresh new look but because their ingredients are purely natural.
“We are pleased that we have finally launched the new look and keeping true to our promise of making our new products available to all our customers nationwide, we will also be launching in other key cities like Cagayan de Oro and Davao,” she said.
Salvane said she foresees a robust growth this year following their successful entry in Luzon early last month and said they are aligning their workforce in anticipation for bigger bulk orders.
“We will add more production people and hire more sales people or promodisers,” she said.*
