Health: Help children grow

A turnover ceremony of Chief Girl Scout Medal Candidate, Senior Girl Scout Faith Lagos was held at the Glad Tidings Church, Duenas, Iloilo. Some 150 children coming from different barangays in Duenas, attended.
Lagos is an alumna of Colegio de San Jose, Jaro, Iloilo City. She is now a freshman student of West Visayas State University and taking up Bachelor of Science in Development Communications.
As part of the continuing program of the project of Lagos, friends from Canada, Len and Paige sponsored a feeding program and VBS for 300 children of Duenas, including the recipient of Lagos’ project on Health: Help Children Grow.
Rev. Ramon Lagos, Jr., pastor of Glad Tidings Church, his wife Ruth Joy and children Franklin, Joy, Nazaria and Faith, hosted the feeding event. Friends from Canada sponsored the lunch for 300 children as well as the tokens from them and their parents.
