Iloilo City gov’t to hold jobs fair
The Iloilo City Public Employment Service Office will hold a jobs fair dubbed “Trabaho Para sa Inyo, Sulong Iloilo,” on August 25, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Amigo Plaza Mall.
The activity is part of the city’s 73rd Charter Day celebration this month.
An initial 20 local employers and 15 overseas employment agencies are joining, PESO-Iloilo City Manager Alan Zaldivar said.
The jobs fair is in support of the thrust of Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog’s administration to provide stable jobs for Ilonggos.
Assisting PESO in the event is the office of Councilor Plaridel Nava together with the City Tourism and Development Office, Public Information Office, Department of Labor and Employment, Iloilo Business Club, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Iloilo City Hall Press Corps, ABS-CBN Iloilo, and Amigo Plaza Mall.
