Lebin to assume as IPPO chief on Aug. 24
Senior Supt. Gil Lebin, a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class 1983, will replace Senior Supt. Renato Gumban as director of the Iloilo Provincial Police Office on August 24.
This was confirmed by Chief Supt. Samuel Pagdilao Jr., police regional director, who announced the reshuffling of commanders in at least four police offices in Western Visayas.
Gumban will be assigned as director of the Capiz Provincial Police Office, replacing Senior Supt. Josephus Angan.

Angan, meanwhile, will be promoted as chief of PRO6 Directorial Staff.

Marietto Valerio of the PRO6 Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division; Senior Supt. Ricardo de la Paz of PRO6 Regional Operations and Plans Division; Senior Supt. Orlando Ualat; and Senior Supt. Manuel Cubillo.
Although Mabilog has yet to make a choice reports said that Iloilo City Rep. Jerry Treñas would want Basngi to get the confirmation.
Also, Pagdilao has written to Antique Gov. Exequiel Javier last July 27 endorsing three names for the next Antique Provincial Police Office chief.
