Iloilo City (Host) Lions Club Celebrates 60th Year
The Iloilo City (Host) Lions Club officers and members Prima Buckley, Ma. Balbina Chavez, President Lion Jeanette Oberio, Ruby Celo, Jeanette Acabal, Violeta Gustilo, Esperanza Larroza (Back) Eddie Juatas, John Honiveros, Felix Villa jr., Councilor Lyndon Acap, Joeboy Agriam, Rene Asoy, Zedrick Señeres, Felix Uy and Dr. Greg Sancho.Iloilo City (Host) Lions Club will mark its 60th Charter Anniversary on August 27, 2010 at 7 PM, Sunset Terrace Ballroom, Hotel del Rio.
The incoming officers are President Jeanette Tañales-Oberio, Immediate VP Dr. Greg Sancho, 1st VP Dr. Teresita Canja, 2nd VP Lyndon Acap, 3rd VP Ralph Luna, Secretary Susan Sollesta, Asst. Sec. Ma. Hildreth Coo, Treasurer Jeanette Acabal, Asst. Treas. Violeta Gustilo, Tail Twister Karl John Ormas, P.R.O. Zedrick Señeres, Lion Tamer Joseph Abada, Auditor Rene Asoy as well as directors PP Jed Patrick Mabilog, Dr. Ma. Grace Ormas, Ruby Celo, Julienne Baronda, Ma. Balbina Chavez, Susan Reyes, Felix Villa Jr. and John Hontiveros. The Club Adviser is PDG Dr. Pedro Jaena.
Highlighting the grand celebration will be the coronation of this year’s Iloilo City (Host) Lions Club Muse Reyna Rose Tañales. Her consort is Raymund Buckley.
Adding pomp to the festivity will be a grand entertainment called the “Palabas” showcase by the Lions. The choreographer is Eddie Juatas.
Lions Club International Director Michael So will grace this celebration.
