Employees coop operates Capitol cafeteria
The Iloilo Provincial Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative yesterday started the operations of the cafeteria inside the Capitol building.
The blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony was held before the IPEMPC opened its newest business venture to the public.
Invited to the opening were Gov. Arthur D. Defensor Sr. and Vice Gov. Oscar Garin Jr.
Virginia Ko, chairperson of the IPEMPC Board of Directors, said after the opening program, the cafeteria offered customers with an “Eat All You Can” promo at a very reasonable price.
Ko said they want to attract customers by offering an exciting and unique dining experience with quality food at affordable prices.
The cafeteria is also a wi-fi hotspot and customers can access the internet for free.
It is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Monday to Friday.
