Pacific Online links with Digitel
The Pacific Online Systems Corp. has enlisted the services of Digital Telecommunications Philippines for its Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IPVPN) via Wireless solutions.
The IP-based service belongs to the wide range of telecommunications services offered by Digitel to corporate markets under its Corporate Solutions brand.
Charles A. Lim, Digitel BU chief executive officrt, said he is pleased with Pacific Online’s choice of Digitel as one of its telco partners.
“Our commitment is to provide them with the service they can depend on as they continue to grow their business interests,” he said.
Roderick Liwanag, Digitel vice president of corporate sales, said Digitel’s IPVPN via Wireless Solutions “provides Pacific Online with a secured connectivity, mobility within the wireless network coverage area, and reliable redundancy solution that is easy and fast to deploy.”
Pacific Online partners with global suppliers of integrated gaming systems and leases equipment to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office for the company’s online lottery operations.
It is primarily engaged in the development, design, and management of online computer systems, terminals, and software for the Philippine gaming industry. Currently, its area of coverage spans almost a thousand cities and municipalities in Visayas and Mindanao.*
