Boy, 15, kills ‘cruel’ pa
A 15-year-old boy in Dueñas, Iloilo killed his father who has been cruel to his mother and siblings, police said.
Dueñas Police Station chief, Chief Insp. Frederick Dequito, said “Noynoy” assaulted his 58-year-old father after seeing him hit them.
The boy, who always sees his father drunk, took a bladed weapon and slashed his father’s throat.
Dequito said the suspect is angry that his father is always drunk and hurts his family members when this happens.
After the incident, the boy was surrendered by his family to the police.
He is now under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Police said the boy’s family will not file a case against him.*
