CRC warden vows to charge jailguard
ROXAS CITY – Provincial Warden Arjuna Yngcong of the Capiz Rehabilitation Center has vowed to charge the jail guard responsible for an inmate’s escape during the CRC anniversary celebration last week.
Yngcong said the jail guard will be held liable for the escape of Sulpicio Marcelino of Brgy. Tacas, Pontevedra, Capiz.
Marcelino, who is facing an illegal drugs case, escaped at around 2 p.m. on September 24. The inmate was found missing during the headcount after lunch.
Capiz Gov. Victor Tanco Sr. gave Yngcong a week to arrest Marcelino.*
