2 women found dead
Two unidentified women were found dead in separate occasions Tuesday in Dumangas town and yesterday, inside a motel in Iloilo City, police said.
In Brgy. Dacutan, Dumangas town, the body of a young woman was found inside a sack by the roadside Tuesday afternoon.
A resident said he first thought the sack contained empty bottles. A closer check made him think it was a dead dog inside.
But when he opened the sack, he saw a hand of the woman wearing a maroon blouse.
He immediately reported the incident to the police.
Senior Police Officer 1 Jessie Foerster said the victim’s hands were tied together and so were her legs.
Believed to be 17 to 19 years old, she had a stab wound and bruises.
Meanwhile, in Iloilo City, another woman was found dead under the bed inside one of the rooms of Queens Court motel in Mandurriao district yesterday noon.
The Mandurriao Police Station said the unidentified woman could have been dead for more than three days already.*JPR
