Pagdilao takes pride in short PRO6 stint
Chief Supt. Samuel Pagdilao Jr., who ended his stint as director of Police Regional Office 6 over the weekend, said he takes pride in his accomplishments in his almost three-and-a-half-month stay in Western Visayas.
At the same time, he is also humbled by the utmost cooperation and support of police personnel in the region, he said.
Pagdilao, who has been transferred to the Police Regional Office 4-A in the Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon area, said his assignment to Region 6 was part of God’s plan after his “foiled” appointment chief of PRO6 in 2007.
During his stay in Western Visayas, Pagdilao implemented the “Pulis Ko, Titser Ko” project with the Department of Education and the Philippine National Police-Media Protocol during Crisis Situation.
“What we have done here will make my job in PRO4-A easier,” he said.
Pagdilao also thanked the media for their support during his term at PRO6, calling the media an “indispensable tool in police work.”
Pagdilao, a member of Philippine Military Class ’79, was assigned in Western Visayas last July 5 to succeed Chief Supt. Isagani Cuevas.*
