DPWH official completes visit of WV district offices
Public Works and Highways Assistant Secretary for Operations Dimas Soguilon visited the agency’s district offices in Western Visayas to present the transformation framework in the fight corruption.
DPWH Assistant Regional Director Juvy Cordon said the transformation framework will be the new policy direction under Secretary Rogelio Singson.
Soguilon on Wednesday visited the provinces of Capiz, Iloilo and Guimaras; on Tuesday was Aklan and Antique and Negros Occidental last week.
Wednesday’s visit culminated the series of presentations and briefings of the policy direction for various district offices in the region.
Cordon added that the new policy will be implemented in partnership with the civil society organizations (CSOs).
She said the DPWH on October 5 already entered into an agreement with CSOs where the latter will help the former starting from project identification up to implementation to ensure these are right project with right quality and price.*PNA
