The Gamp Party!
The Human Ten during Garden of the Ascension's 10th anniversary.October 10 was a momentous and very busy day for Garden of the Ascension Memorial Park (GAMP) Iloilo’s management, staff and agents as they celebrated their 10th anniversary. The fun started with an exclusive fun run for GAMP’s sales associates as early as 5:45 AM. Upon reaching the finish line, each participant was given a Green Bag with goodies inside. It was followed by a lighting of the torch by no less than GAMP President Francisco Alba, Jr., who declared the Big @ 10 celebration open. What followed was the raising of each agency’s colors. The participating agencies were Bilangdal, Bustillo, Collado, Direct Office, Salarda and Saplada.
There was a one-hour aerobics exercise session. Then, the agencies competed with each other in the Inter-sports event with Bustillo winning the relay and Saplada leading in the bicycling category.
Being environment conscious, GAMP held a tree planting activity at the memorial park as well as a talk on climate change by Amy Guillergan of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
Then, everybody sat on GAMP’s center road and formed a human number 10 for the 10th anniversary souvenir picture. White doves were released afterwards.
The culmination of the celebration was a party dubbed as “GAMP’s Q-TOP” at the Rooftop Brewery, Smallville in the evening. The qualifiers take off party was such a success with everybody having fun until dawn.
It was indeed a memorable anniversary celebration for Garden of the Ascension-Iloilo.
