Jobs in Oman, UAE available for Ilonggos
The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Iloilo Provincial Government invites job seekers to apply for several employment opportunities in Oman and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
PESO Manager Francisco Heler said the initial screening will be held on November 22, at the 5th Floor conference room of the Iloilo Provincial Capitol, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Needed for employment are: cashiers (female), counterhand – deli/ bakery/pork (male/female); merchandisers/receivers (male); porters (male); butchers – meat/fish (male/female); bakers (male/female), administrative clerks (male/female); and trainee administrators (male/female).
Applicants are required to bring their comprehensive resumé and recent 2x2 colored picture, and if possible their passports.
Heler said no placement fee will be collected from the job applicants.
Last July 2010, PESO was able to send 76 Ilonggos to work at Dubai Duty-Free.*
