Birthday boy Mon 'Yolak' Vera Cruz with his catch.During one weekend, the Go Fish Anglers Club members had the time of their lives when they participated in the 2nd Yolak Invitational Fishing Tournament. It was also the birthday of fish angler Mon Carlo “Yolak” Vera Cruz, thus the name of the tournament.
The champion was Francisco Gila, who snagged a two-kilo Emperor Snapper. The first runner-up was George Layson for catching a 1.6-kilo Grouper. The second runner-up was Eric “Bong” Cruz for cathing a 1.5-kilo White Snapper.
