Capitol jobs fair set Dec. 16
The Public Service Employment Office of the Iloilo provincial government will hold a jobs fair dubbed “Trabaho, Regalo ni Gov. Art” on December 16 at the ground floor lobby of the Provincial Capitol.
Provincial PESO Chief Francisco Heler said 25 to 30 recruiters have confirmed to participate.
Both land-based and sea-based jobs will be offered here and abroad.
Heler said applicants must bring their resumés and appropriate credentials.
On November 22, PESO also conducted a jobs recruitment for employment opportunities in Oman and United Arab Emirates at the Provincial Capitol.
Heler said a number of qualified applicants are now preparing their documents for jobs abroad.
Meanwhile, the PESO recently hosted a consultative meeting with human resource managers and manpower agency representatives to further improve jobs recruitment in the province.
Topics tackled during the consultative meeting were: Registry of Skills/Establishment, Updates of Philippine Overseas Employment Administration programs, Deployment/Status Report, Person with Disability, Capability Building and Apprenticeship Programs.*
