SM City Iloilo brings Christmas to Seniors
SM City Iloilo Mall Manager Girlie Liboon greets the seniors a Merry Christmas.SM City Iloilo treated the officers and members of the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs(OSCA) and the Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines(FSCAP) to a Christmas celebration recently in the mall.
Lolos and lolas got to sing, dance and enjoy the games prepared for them. They were also treated to a sumptuous snack after the program.
The seniors went home satisfied after the mall gave them gifts.
The gift-giving was SM City Iloilo’s way of thanking the seniors for their cooperation over the years. They are considered as partners in community building.
SM City Iloilo is in constant coordination with FSCAP and OSCA in various activities as part of its advocacy for the welfare of the elderly sector through the SM Cares Committee on Senior Citizens Affairs. A project in line with this is the Seniors Day at the Mall, held every 2nd Tuesday of the month, wherein activities are being conducted that will aid in the welfare and enjoyment of the senior citizens.
