Orleans seeks probe on wrong intel report

City Councilor Marietta V. Orleans is urging the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Police Matters “to conduct an investigation relative to the wrong information on suicide bomber involving my vehicle white Isuzu Crosswind with Plate No. XGX 518”.

DLR gives P7.5-M worth projects to 4 Iloilo towns

Four municipalities in the province of Iloilo are lucky enough to become beneficiaries of P7.5 million worth of infrastructure projects courtesy of the Department of Land Reform (DLR) which is now headed by an Ilonggo Sec. Rene Villa.

It seems the Special Services Unit (SSU) of the Iloilo City Government is having double standards in the clearing of sidewalks and walkways in the city. While it has successfully cleared some sidewalks of obstructions, it obviously keeps a blind eye on this commercial establishment in Quezon-Texas Streets. Take notice of the LPG tanks placed in front of the establishment already occupying the sidewalk.
