Officers and members of the Panay Rural Development Center, Inc. (PRDCI) assailed Col. Binirayan: Festival for the Antiqueños

Binirayan is Antique's annual festival. Literally means, where they landed, recalls the story of the ten Bornean datus led by Datu Puti and Datu Sumakwel who fled from the oppressive rule of Sultan Makatunaw and their subsequent settlement in Panay in the early 15 th century.

'OFW Hotline' signs on

A memorandum of agreement was signed between the Overseas Workers Welfare (OWWA) and the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA), the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the management of IBC dyBQ-Radyo Budyong to enhance the production of the radio program, OFW HOTLINE.

Kalibo bet wins regional chess elims

An unheralded Kalibo student ran off with the championship of the Region VI eliminations for the chess team to be fielded for the 2005 Southeast Asian Games which concluded Sunday, April 3rd, at the Gov. Corazon L. Cabagnot Memorial Tourism and Training Center at Old Buswang in Kalibo, Aklan.
