AFP to discuss RPA violation with GRP

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will bring to the attention of the national working committee on Peace Process the recent violation committed by the Revolutionary Proletariat Army (RPA) in the peace agreement they have forged with the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP).

Capitol sets earthquake drill

In line with the conduct of nationwide earthquake safety drill for public buildings, the Iloilo Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council will also conduct the same on Thursday (July28) with the Capitol employees.  

SP nod up on P48.6M add'l Capitol budget

A week after it was first presented on the floor for deliberations, the Iloilo Sanggunian Panlalawigan (SP) now hears out the recommendation for the approval of over P48 million in additional Capitol budget.

City's crime rate down

Crime against person or property (index crimes) in Iloilo City went down by 30.76 percent during the first six months of the year, the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) reported.

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 6 (CHEDRO 6) has ordered the phase out of the programs of eleven schools in the region due to low performance in board examinations.
