City govt collects P2.8M from markets, slaughterhouse
The city government has collected P2,804,115.66 from the markets and slaughterhouse for the month of May alone. Record shows there is a slight increase of collection compared to the same period last year.
The report rendered by Oziel Aparicio, market supervisor IV to the Sangguniang Panlungsod showed that the P2,804,115.66 was collected from the market rental, light fee, cash tickets, market fee, market collection, bus terminal, concessionaires fee, slaughterhouse fee, dental fee and community tax.
Aparicio, in his report said there is an increase of collection this year by about P266,844.00.
The collections came from the Central Market, Terminal Market and the public markets of Lapaz, Jaro Big, Jaro Small, Arevalo and Mandurriao market.
In May 2006, the collection for the market rentals is P510,502.48; cash tickets P505,050; light fee P1,136.420; market fee P56,462.05; community tax P225,160.13; dental P1,145; bus terminal P52,830; concessionaire P3,773.10 and slaughterhouse fee P312,763.
Last year, the collection for the market rentals is P471,768.78; cash tickets P531,811; light fee P951,691.71; market fee P49978.46; community tax P175,420.56; dental P1,115; bus terminal P79,170; concessionaires P4,170 and slaughterhouse fees P272,146.
