300 Soldiers deployed in Central and Western Visayas
Camp Peralta, Jamindan, Capiz -- Almost 300 new Privates swore their loyalty to the Republic of the Philippines particularly to the Philippine Army last June 27, 2006 at Camp Peralta, Jamindan, Capiz to protect and defend the freedom and democracy of our country. These new soldiers will be deployed in Brigades and Battalions within 3rd Division area of responsibility purposely for internal security operations whose primary mission is to combat insurgency.
3ID Commanding General Maj. Gen. Alphonsus P. Crucero inspired the new soldiers with his message, "entering the field of military is not an easy task, you should be ready to fit in to the "Military Professionalism" and "Pledge of Loyalty" as you render your oath in the service, you professed your allegiance to the public, the Armed Forces and the nation that you solemnly swear to fulfill your duties without mental reservation and purpose of invasion. You are not only serving the people but also performing the role in the name of the supreme being -- The Almighty God. He also emphasized the three important characters that the soldiers must continuously possess in order to remain in the service; discipline, obedience and loyalty to the core of Military Profession."
These new breed of fighters will provide more muscle to the military machinery to fastract the neutralization of the communist armed group as per the timeline directed by Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
