Officials and employees of the Bingawan Municipal Government, including the town's police force face eviction from its present seat of government and office.

Number of monsoon rains-affected families in WV up to over 9,000

According to the latest consolidated damage report furnished by the Office of Civil Defense-Regional Disaster Coordinating Council (OCD-RDCC) VI, the monsoon rains have now affected 90 barangays and 9,235 families in Western Visayas (WV).

City to push for release of P1.3 M calamity fund

The Sangguniang Panlungsod will hold today (Monday) a special session to declare some barangays in the city under the state of calamity and to call for the release of P1.3 million calamity fund intended for those families who lost their houses due strong winds and waves brought by two tropical cyclones last week.
