UPV exec charged with neglect of duty over undelivered lab kit

An engineer and section chief of the University of the Philippines in the Visayas (UPV) was formally charged with Neglect of Duty in an administrative case filed before the Office of the Chancellor here.

22 Guimaras resort operators first to get compensation claims

The International Oil Pollution Compensation Fund (IOPCF) has already paid the 22 resort operators in the island province of Guimaras of their compensation claims resulting from the Solar 1 oil spill incident. The fishermen from the town of San Lorenzo comes next after they also agreed with the compensation package.

USAEU-FFW strike area faces demolition

The strike area of the dismissed officers of the University of San Agustin Employees Union-Federation of Free Workers (USAEU-FFW) who have been camping out in front of the University of San Agustin campus for nearly two years faces demolition today, Monday, from the City Engineer's Office (CEO) as ordered by City Legal Office (CLO) chief Atty. Edgar Gil.

This after the striking former USA employees failed to dismantle their streamers and vacate the place yesterday, Sunday, the deadline set by Gil for them to clear the area.
