Intel personnel, mobile group tapped in fight vs illegal gambling

In the midst of bustling political developments, PRO 6 regional director Chief Supt. Wilfredo Dulay Sr. has launched a task force that would undertake a more aggressive campaign against the illegal numbers game “jueteng” and other forms of illegal gambling in Western Visayas.

Jaro Agro-Fair nets P300T income

The Jaro Agro-Industrial and Charity Fair garnered a net income of P300,508 for its more than a month of conducting business inside the Jaro Plaza in relation to its district fiesta.

Aklan first in West Visayas to receive int’l flights – Rep. Miraflores

Kalibo, Aklan -- With the scheduled inaugural flight of the Asian Spirit Airline from South Korea direct to Kalibo Airport tentatively on the first week of March, Rep. Florencio T. Miraflores said Aklan will be the first province in Western Visayas to receive an international flight.

First rice and corn information caravan draws 700 farmers

The Nude

In lieu of the National Arts Month celebration, the University of the Philippines in the Visayas Chancellor's Committee on Culture and the Arts supported a sultry art exhibit dubbed as The Nude. The exhibit tackles the most-admired of all subjects -- the unclothed human figure. The Nude was born out of the collaboration of 28 prolific Ilonggo artists who individually interpreted the beauty that lies within every being by giving vivid details on soft curves and bold lines.
