SOS Children's Village gets the ball rolling
Last Oct. 12, 2007, the SOS Children's Villages Philippines exhibit was launched at the Pink Mushroom, Paseo Iloilo. The venue was packed with children from the village together with the staff.
The organization vended round pins that bear the logo of SOS Children's Village, caps, books, shirts, synthetic flowers and more, in an attempt to spread the word about SOS Children's Village
The program was kicked off by a doxology presentation of the SOS Children followed by initial remarks from the village director, Rene Masongsong. The occasion was enriching.
Then, everyone proceeded to the food court area of Robinson's Place Iloilo for the cutting of ribbon that was fronted by Mayor Jerry Treñas.
