* It fills her days with enchantment and anticipation for tomorrow
Life may perhaps from time to time be mind-numbing after doing similar things day by day. So why not take up a leisure pursuit? It could be a lot of things. Put together a collection of something you would like to keep for years, creative and artistic pursuits, engage in recreational sports, or create great melodies with your friend.
Hobbies are skill-forming, knowledge-filled, and experience-free. And in the end, you fulfill something for yourself.
Writing isn't a good deal of something we feel like taking as a pastime. Hobbies ought to be pleasurable and stimulating. But for a good number of us, writing is like studying by making scripts and symbols. It takes an immense deal of thinking and understanding. But uh-uh, remember 'freedom'. Writing is 'being free'. Open to write whatsoever is in our minds, materializing our innermost emotions and desires, and putting life into it. A number of people write to relieve hurting and soreness. The pen and paper are similar to machines working in the mind and comforters of the heart that accompanies the possessor in its voyage all the way through its existence.
Lady Claudine Belnas is like all other college students. Apart from studying everyday, Claudine loves writing. It was at first just a hobby, but slowly became her passion. It fills her days with enchantment and anticipation for tomorrow.
Lady Claudine lives in Molo, Iloilo City and is studying in the University of San Agustin. Here is something to fill us up.
WHEN DID YOU START WRITING?
I started writing when I was in 2nd grade.
WHAT MADE YOU START IT?
I love reading books, especially about fairytales and myths. I also love the different tales of my best friend. Some stories frustrate me and I wanted to change their endings so I write versions of my own.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU WRITE?
Almost every night!
WHAT ABOUT?
I write about my ideas, feelings and emotions for that day, stories from fantasy to mystery and fan fictions of animes and movies.
DO YOU HAVE A WRITING SCHEDULE?
I schedule long stories (my novels) after exams or during vacations and breaks. I make sure that my schoolwork is finished before I write.
WHAT IS A NORMAL DAY FOR YOU?
Pretty much what is normal -- going to school, being with friends.
WHAT TRIGGERS YOU TO WRITE?
Anything that can trigger my emotions deeply.
DO YOU WRITE POEMS?
Not really, no. I prefer long stories.
HOW LONG IS YOUR STORY?
I can fill-in a 90 leaves notebook.
Like Claudine, we also need to build a ritual for writing, something to fill us up.
