Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital retains Best Hospital title
The Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital (RTMDH) in Cabatuan, Iloilo retained its title as the Best District Hospital in the Province of Iloilo.
In the 4th Hospital Awards and Recognition Ceremony held yesterday at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol, RTMDH was once again adjudged the Best District Hospital and bagged five other awards such as Best Hospital, Best in Dental Service, Best in Laboratory Service, Best in Dietary Service, Best in Radiology Service and Best in Administrative Service. The hospital, headed by Dr. Levi Osea, received a total of P20,000.00 cash incentives and a plaque.
The Second Best Hospital went to Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial District Hospital in Lambunao, Iloilo. It also garnered awards such as the Cleanest and Greenest Hospital and Best in Nursing Service. The hospital, being headed by Dr. Roberto C. Castronuevo, received P11,000.00 total cash award and a plaque.
The Rep. Pedro G. Trono Memorial District Hospital, being headed by Dr. Antonio T. Garibay, got the Thirst Best Hospital award and Best in Social Services. It received P7,000.00 total cash incentive and plaque.
The Best in Pharmacy Service went to Dr. Ricardo S. Provido, Sr. Memorial District Hospital, headed by Dr. Edgar C. Castaños. They received a cash price of P2,000.00.
Already on its fourth year, the search for the best hospital in the province is being initiated by Dr. Judy Ann T. Dumayas and Hospital Operations Management Committee, which motivates more the hospital staff and personnel in recognition of their best practices in the holistic operations and maintenance of hospital resulting to effective and efficient delivery of quality services.
The evaluation team is being composed of personnel from the Provincial Planning and Development Office, Provincial Information Office, Provincial Health Office, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office.
The awarding ceremony was part of the celebration of the 107th Semana sang Iloilo. (Capitol News)
