At the heart of Jereos Street, La Paz stands HRM Skills, a school that nurtures future chefs. Some students graduated recently and they held a dinner and program wherein Purr was lucky to be a part of.
Councilor Lex Tupas, for one, enjoyed the food. "If you feed me this food everyday, I'll really gain weight," he told the men and women of HRM Skills when he was asked to make a speech. On a more serious note, Tupas thanked everyone for their contribution in making life better for everyone and for helping him in his governance. He encouraged the guests, "Believe in people who believe that you will do great."
Joel Adrias, chief operating officer of Mang Inasal and Deco's, shared the success of the said businesses. He also promised expansion of Mang Inasal in the international market. He also encouraged the graduates to do well because there is a great demand for their services. He lauded Andrey Ross Dicen, owner of HRM Skills for his creativity and dynamism. "Under his training, the students become better," he said.
Graduates
He also encouraged patriotism among the graduates. "If ever you leave the country to work, don't forget that you have a country to serve. Show to the whole world what good Filipinos can do. Learn there, come back here and apply what you learned. So our country can be great," he concluded.
