The fabulous Palomar sisters
Palomar sisters Nelly, Madam Jane and
Au-au
The ever fabulous Palomar sisters of Tapaz, Capiz were in their best form in hosting recently when they gave a thanksgiving lunch at their family's ancestral estate to relatives and friends in appreciation for all the blessings and good fortune they have received. It was also to celebrate one of those rare occasions when the sisters, who live in different parts of the world, would get together in the town where they spent their childhood. Daughters of landed gentries, their father, the late Angel Palomar Sr. once served as municipal mayor of Tapaz, for 28 years.
Nelly Palomar-Weiss of Chicago is the founder of the Philippine America Foundation for the Homeless, a non-profit organization that deals with the plight of the less fortunate. Madame Jane Palomar is a woman of the world; faultlessly elegant, always in the company of the smart set, a world traveler and a sharp businesswoman. She calls London, Chicago and Kuwait her home.
