USA PMT goes retro!
The Epsilon Chapter officers.
The College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology of the University of San Agustin, last July 3, held an acquaintance party with the theme, “Retro Night: Extending our hands to create new bonds and soar high.”
The students came in their different retro attires. The program started with a fashion show on uniform and civilian wear worn by students as the models. It was choreographed by Kharlle Joehn Hautea. Then, there’s the dance contest wherein the Third Year Pharmacy students won. It was followed by “Best Friends Forever Kami” game and the Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flower Fever). There was a reenactment of some scenes from the top-rated Koreanovela, and it was won by the Seniors.

There were other events that day. They were the grand rally, election and orientation.
The officers of the different councils were given the chance to present their platform and be recognized. The newly appointed Presidents of the three organizations are as follows: Jumie Rose Botante, President of the Epsilon Chapter, the umbrella organization of the college; Apothecarian council headed by Edwin Santos Jr. and the JAMLS council headed by Serren Lor Gallinero.
During the orientation, the faculty and staff of the PMT as well as other members of the academe were introduced to the students by Remi Charlene Salvilla and Deanna Jolito. Victoria Sustento, dean of the college formally welcomed all the new members of the department while Dr. Melvin Sumagaysay, head of the Pharmacy Department, gave the departmental rules and regulations. A speech was given by Breann Katrina Rosales-Chaplin and Andre Karl Faculin about the expectations from the freshmen students.
The Epsilon Chapter and the College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology Administration had been together as partners in promoting the educational objectives of the institution by implementing activities, programs, and projects for the welfare of the students. In line with the celebration of the feast of St. Augustine, the Chapter would like to promote the values of Friendship, Common Good, and Community, by holding an Acquaintance party. These three events were made possible thru the efforts of the newly elected Epsilon Chapter officers.
