Milgarosa and Iloilo City Integrated Lions Club hold Medical and Dental Mission in Lapuz
Medicines were provided by Milagrosa
Shipping Company and some
pharmaceutical companies.
Milagrosa Shipping Company, in cooperation with the Iloilo City Integrated Lions Club, held a medical and dental mission for the residents of Lapuz one Sunday morning. Some 200 senior citizens, adults and children availed of this outreach activity, which according to Milagrosa Shipping owner Josette Jardiolin, is already on its 9th year. There was also a bloodletting activity wherein 100 donated blood.
Having a doctor’s check-up is hard to come by especially for those who can’t even feed themselves three times a day. A laboratory check-up is even more expensive. Some tests cost a thousand. Thus, many diseases remained unchecked. The residents of Lapuz were very lucky to have availed of the free medical and dental mission that Milagrosa Shipping Company has conducted.
To Milagrosa Shipping Company owned by the Jardiolin family and to the Iloilo City Integrated Lions Club headed by Marcos Villalon, may your noble efforts continue and may other companies and organizations follow suit.
