A rather surprising development in the political landscape of Iloilo City happened yesterday morning after City Councilor Jose Espinosa III (Joe III) declared that he will run for city vice mayor in next year’s election.

Parade of festivals to open tourism assembly

ROXAS CITY – A parade of various festivals in the region will kick off the Western Visayas Tourism Assembly (WVTA) on December 4 here.

The three-day assembly will be in time with the city and provincial governments’ Sinadya sa Halaran (SSH) celebration which culminates on the feast day of its Patroness Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception every Dec. 8.
