Arlos and Croton's Fragments of Consciousness
Everyday in our lives we tend to see things around us that may appear as illusions of images that happen to blend with nature. Usually, these images are seen on a splat of paint, stains on wall, rust on an iron sheet and the most common are images on clouds. This reaction to our environment is called “mental image”, and it is caused by our brain’s creative consciousness. This natural reaction to non-deliberate materials is affected by some factors in our life, the Fragments of our Consciousness.
Fragments of Consciousness is a thesis exhibit by Elysar John Arlos and Maria Helena Croton, graduating student of Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of San Agustin. Their exhibit is at the Red Galley from March 2 to 15, 2010.
Other USA Fine Arts graduating students held their exhibits in varied venues as well. Norce Salazar, Mark Anthony Cabrera and Noel Epalan, Jr. held “Dissent and Disorder” at the Museo Iloilo and Marya Anya Obafial and Ray Oliver Cajilig held “Metaphorica” at the University of San Agustin’s Urdaneta Hall.
