Grenade lobbed at Treñas’ ancestral house

First it was Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas’ pawnshop which got robbed. Second, a grenade that was lobbed at the family-owned bakeshop. And it did not end there.

Yesterday morning, another grenade was thrown at the mayor’s ancestral home in Brgy. Taal, Molo, Iloilo City.

Raul Sr. irked by claim linking him to grenade throwing

Former Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez Sr. was annoyed by accusations linking him again to the grenade throwing incident at the ancestral house of the Treñas family early morning yesterday.

Mayor’s son, 2 others rapped for kagawad’s murder

A murder charge was already filed against three suspects who ambushed one of the political leaders of Cong. Niel “Jun-Jun” Tupas, Jr.  

And it looks like politics was really behind the killing of Brgy. Kagawad Arsenio Flaviano of Plandico, Concepcion town.
