Int’l motocross in Valderrama, Antique
Motorbike enthusiasts and fans gathered in Valderrama, Antique last April 22-25 to witness the 1st Evelio Javier Invitational Supercross Championships.
The competition not only showcased the innate riding skills of Filipino riders but also stirred the untapped potentials of thousands of motorbike owners in the region.
The riders led by 2009 RP Motocross Rider of the Year Kenneth San Andres roared Valderrama’s motocross racing complex that complies with the high standards of international motocross racing with strict supervision and approval by the National Motor Sports and Safety Association headed by Macky Carapiet.
Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) director Ray Roquero with the help of his wife Mayor Joyce Roquero organized the race in a bid to make Valderrama the next motocross racing mecca in the country. (Erly Garcia)
