1, 700 barangays in WV prone to landslides–MGB

The Mines and Geosciences Bureau 6 (MGB 6) is currently monitoring more than 1,700 barangays in Western Visayas that are prone to landslides.

Basngi ignores Nava’s call for him to leave ICPO

Senior Supt. Dennis Basngi, director of Iloilo City Police Office, said he is ready to step down from his post, but not because Councilor Plaridel Nava Jr. told him so.

“I would step down anytime (if) majority of the people of Iloilo City would call for it,” he said.
