UFI Donates Cooking Materials to Adopted School
Selected students and faculty of Buntatala National High School with the Uygongco Foundation, Inc. (UFI).Uygongco Foundation, Inc. turned over some cooking materials to the Buntatala National High School recently as part of the UFI’s Adopt a School Program.
Apart from the Adopt a School Program, UFI also has a Scholarship Program wherein they give out school bags, school supplies and other educational needs for its 400 scholars distributed evenly in 10 Iloilo City schools.
Months ago, UFI donated P3.5-million to the Department of Education’s Adopt A School Program.
UFI’s efforts are part of its commitment to promote human development especially for poor and marginalized people. UFI aims to help improve access to basic education through simple but meaningful engagements with the communities through the improvement of day care centers, scholarships for poor yet deserving students, as well as support to teachers.
