City's most wanted person falls

Police has remitted Monday the city's most wanted person at the Iloilo City District Jail in Ungka, Jaro after he was presented to the court that issued the warrant for his arrest.
Suspect Gabriel Orbino is again back at the Iloilo City District Jail after he was rearrested by the joint team of the Intelligence and Investigation Section of the Iloilo City Police Office, San Lorenzo municipal police station, Guimaras provincial command at Barangay Cabungahan, San Lorenzo in the island-province of Guimaras last February 12, 2006.
In 1999, Orbino jumped bail and went into hiding. He hid in Manila and Davao City before he returned to Guimaras. He is facing murder charges before Branch 36 of the Iloilo Regional Trial Court for shooting Daniel Catalan last October 31, 1994 at Barangay Boulevard, Molo.
Orbino, a former Philippine Constabulary draftee was first arrested in 1996. His arrest was made after retired RTC Judge Quirico Defensor issued a warrant for his arrest. The warrant of arrest was served by police officer Danilo Basinillo, former warrant and subpoena officer of the ICPO to the suspect.
He was put in prison from the time of his arrest until 1999. The court, however granted his plea to post for bail. Orbino then fled after he posted bail for his temporary liberty.
