In exasperation
What was with the nine-hour brownout or blackout last week? No warning, just pfffft!!! What was that all about? And if that was not enough, it appeared as if nothing happened...when every building, house and corner of the city was dark, guess what? One part of the main thoroughfare was lighted. Oh well, we know where that is and of course, it would be lighted otherwise they don't own anything for nothing! I don't make sense? I don't care I know that there are still smart people out there who understand what I am trying to say here. However, next time it happens... please, please, pretty please, have the decency or delicadeza to join the club of people in candles because of a stupid brownout or blackout whatever! Otherwise, where is the "credibility clause" every time you guys ask for increase in rates? "Bato-bato sa langit, ang tamaan wag magalit"

The Iloilo City Mayor was doing fine until STL -- Small Town Lottery. STL is not for the poor. If anything for the poor, it will just give them false hopes that they can be millionaires. The little money or savings that they have will go to betting on something that they are not sure if they'll win or not. C'mon guys, don't use the poor again to fatten those wallets, you know very well that they can't win big if they don't bet big!

Can the city government add an ordinance called "noise ordinance"? I noticed that every time this department store cum mall has a 3-day sale, they would play music that is so loud; my eardrums would break any moment. I know that is the idea but pleeeaaassseee enough already! I guess its okay during the day but not when people need some peace and quiet during nighttime. The ordinance, please???!!!

What a fool believes... remember that song by the Doobie brothers and Michael McDonald? Oh well, the generation today may think if they hear it, it's a new song or a revival. I like the song basically because of the rhythm and the artists who sung it. These past days, I have been humming it inside my head for no particular reason at all or I thought so... then it hit me, somebody thought he's making a fool of us or so he believes. You know who you are, watch it for Someone's watching you too! So who's the fool now?
