Ilonggo rapist, murder convicts begin Munti stint
Twelve Ilonggo convicted criminals began their stint at the National Bilibid Penitentiary (NBP) in Muntinlupa, the country's 'shelter' for hardened criminals and convicts.
The latest 'shipment' all came from the Iloilo Rehabilitation Center (IRC) comprised of a rapist and murderers who were all remitted amidst tightened security over the weekend. Included in the latest Muntinlupa arrival is one homicide convict, a 62 year-old father Rudy Ignacio who was found guilty alongside his two sons, Rex and Renante.
The other convicts were identified as Nestor Solis who will serve time reclusion perpetua for his rape conviction, Roman Espia also reclusion perpetua for robbery in band with homicide, Rolando Lanceta for murder with 17 to 20 year-imprisonment.
Also in for the Muntinlupa stint are Norberto Dalumpines for homicide with 8 to 14 year sentence, his pal Renato Yap also for the same charge with the same jail term, Rey Barredo for two counts of Frustrated Murder with 4 to 8 year sentence each count, Melvin Gumban also for Frustrated Murder, Winnie Camacho for murder with 5 to 12 year sentence and Roger Lenpija for Frustrated Murder with 4 to 8 year conviction.
A total of 14 IRC guards secured the convicts.
