UPV's Dellava and Recabar to be sent to Germany as Bayer Environmental Envoys
John Ryan M. Recabar, BA Broadcast Communication VI and Janus Le-an I. Dellava, BA Broadcast Communication III were chosen to be among the top four Bayer Young Environmental Envoys during the awards presentation night held on September 28, 2006, at the Grand Ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel at Makati City. John Ryan and Janus will join their counterparts from 16 other countries in an educational trip to Germany in November 2006.
The Bayer Young Environmental Envoy (BYEE) program, now on its 6th year in the Philippines, is an all-expense-paid study tour of Germany that provides young people across four continents with an insight into the broad spectrum of environmental protection measures employed by industry, municipalities, and state environmental authorities. This program is sponsored by Bayer and its partner, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
John Ryan and Janus are among the 13 Bayer Young Environmental Envoys for 2006 selected from various parts of the country. They attended a live-in Eco-Camp in Clearwater Country Club, Clark Field, Pampanga from September 23 until the final announcement of the top four envoys on September 28. (Anna Razel L.
