Gatecrasher stabbed dead by woman guest
A wedding party in the quiet town of San Jose, Province of Antique was cut short and had a tragic ending when a male gatecrasher was stabbed dead by a woman guest.
The incident occurred Wednesday evening in Purok Tinapok, Barangay 8 of said town. Authorities identified the victim as Tony Salcedo who barged in one house at the middle of the celebration in search of an enemy, an alias "Banting."
Guests panicked upon seeing Salcedo armed with a "bolo" as a commotion ensued. One male guest managed to get the weapon however Salcedo grabbed another in the kitchen.
Female friend of the newlyweds, 24 year-old Lory Sialza then joined the fray and stabbed Salcedo on the left side of his chest. The victim was pronounced dead on arrival by hospital authorities at the Angel Salazar Jr. Memorial Hospital in the town proper.
PO2 Edgar Favila of the San Jose Police Office confirmed to Bombo Radyo yesterday (Thursday) that the woman suspect was immediately brought in to police custody. A charge of homicide is being mulled against her.
