City allocates P16M for extra cash gift of employees
The city government has allocated P16,600,000 for the extra cash gift of regular employees of the Iloilo City Hall. National government officials and employees who are receiving additional allowances from the city government should also be happy by now after the city government allocated P5,183,850 out of the city's P166,093,463 supplemental budget.
Each regular employee of the city government will receive P10,000 as extra cash gift. Only regular employees are entitled to receive the P10,000 cash gift.
While, of the P5,183,850 allowances for national government officials and employees, bulk will go the the allowances of elementary and secondary school teachers. The allocation for the allowances of elementary and secondary school teachers is P3,750,450.
The police service comes next with P826,650 and the fire service comes third with P181,500. The city has likewise allocated P90,750 for the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology District Jail; P69,000 City Prosecutors Office; P54,000 Regional Trial Court judges; P47,850 PASCOM; P29,700 Regional Internal Affairs Service; P29,700 Crime Laboratory; P26,400 RASO; P23,100 Bureau of Jail Management and Penology City Jail; P18,150 traffic police station; P15,000 state prosecutors; P12,000 MTCC judges and P1,500 for the clerk of court and P1,500 for the City Register of Deeds.
Meanwhile, Ilonggos who could not afford and considered as indigents should not be hesitant to ask help from the city government after the city also allocated P100,000 for the funeral expenses of city employees and barangay officials.
