Miagao up on the web
Miagao, Iloilo --Mayor Gerardo N. Flores officially launched the town's website during the staff meeting yesterday (February 13th).
"With the latest development, you can reach Miagao at www.miagao.gov.ph. Therefore, I invite you to visit our site. From there you will see all about our municipality and its development under my watch," Flores said.
The idea was conceptualized purposely to bring information about Miagao to its people here and abroad. The site offers information about local government unit--its vision-mission, history, tourism and barangays--and the services it could offer.
Further, it features the towns map and location, local news, contacts of officials from the legislative and executive departments, schools, banks, restaurants and travel assistance.
For Flores, it was indispensable on the part of the LGU to establish a web site as it hosts a number of tourist everyday.
For comments and suggestion, the mayor said emails are accepted at miagaowebmaster@yahoo.com or miagao@globelines.com.ph.
