It was like a wonderful Sunday evening in the sala of a family house. You get to listen to violin and piano pieces performed by a family of five. The mother explains and guides everyone to each piece they play. The rest of the family communicates in hushed, playful tones. Their eyes exude quiet confidence.

There were funny stories and anecdotes. It could possibly be the most relaxing event you've ever been in to.
That was the atmosphere and ambiance at the concert of Iloilo's world renowed musical family, the Kabayao quintet, led by Gilopez and Corazon Kabayao with children Sicilienne, Farida and Gilberto.

Music lovers, musicians, cultural aficionados and simple folks were treated to a strong repertoire of classical pieces, re-arranged folk songs and gospel music. It

was a special event where music, love and familial affair reverberated in what could be touted as one of the most memorable musical event of the season.

And the concert was by no means just a frivolous cultural exercise (if ever culture is a frivolous affair) but the show was made possible for the benefit of Jaro Adventist Elementary School Trust and Endowment Fund.
A wonderful evening indeed to feed one's soul.
